About your Facilitator . . .
Cheryl Stock brings more than 25 years of experience helping people grow, organizations evolve, and workplaces become more human, connected, and effective. She is a seasoned People & Culture Strategist, facilitator, and coach who has built her career on curiosity, clarity, and a deep respect for the people behind the work.
Before founding CLS Connections, Cheryl spent nearly a decade as a Pension and Benefits Consultant, guiding employees through some of the most important decisions of their careers. She supported staff through the retirement process, helped them understand the true value of their compensation, and delivered clear, accessible education during what can often be an overwhelming transition. Her pension work extended beyond one-to-one support - she served as the employer representative on the Special Forces Pension Plan Stakeholder Committee, where she contributed recommendations to the Pension Plan Board and even the Provincial Finance Minister on sustainability and long-term plan health. Her pension experience spans both the Federal and Provincial Public Service Pension Plans as well as Local Authorities Pension Plan and the Special Forces Pension Plan.
This foundation in high-stakes, people-centered work shaped the way Cheryl leads today: with balance, thoughtful communication, and a commitment to empowering others through knowledge.
Cheryl later expanded her impact as a Learning and Development Consultant, designing and delivering programs that strengthened leadership, improved team communication, and developed the next generation of talent. She coordinated enterprise-level learning initiatives, supported large facilitator teams, and created data-informed systems to elevate decision-making and organizational development. Whether facilitating DiSC, coaching through EQ-i 2.0 insights, or building a strategic leadership program from the ground up, Cheryl has a track record of helping people understand themselves better - and show up differently because of it.
Today, through CLS Connections, Cheryl blends her HR expertise, coaching certifications, data literacy, and lived experience to support individuals, teams, and leaders who want to communicate more effectively, navigate difficult relationships, and build meaningful connection into their personal and professional lives.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations as well as her Certified Human Resources Professional Designation. She is also a certified facilitator and coach for Emotional Intelligence EQ-i 2.0 & 360, Everything DiSC Workstyles, and The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, and brings a grounded, practical approach that helps people feel both supported and challenged in the best way.
Cheryl is known for her ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights; her courage to try new approaches and refine them; and her natural strength in creating space where people feel safe exploring their own growth. If you’re ready to build stronger relationships, communicate with more confidence, and lead with emotional intelligence, Cheryl is the kind of facilitator who helps you get there -one honest conversation at a time.
